Laurence Grant has been with Aston Bond since its inception and became a Partner on 1st October 2008. He qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and has an extremely strong background and an excellent reputation in criminal defence law. Over the years his portfolio has grown exponentially and he regularly represents defendants in trading standards, health and safety and local authority prosecutions. He also specialises in CPS prosecutions, serious fraud and proceeds of crime matters.
Laurence has represented clients in PACE interviews since 1995 and places a particular emphasis on providing informed advice at the investigation stage. He is a highly respected and effective magistrate’s court advocate with a keen reputation for being the specialist to consult when it comes to motoring matters and issues arising.
In his spare time, Laurence has written both online and in print on the subject of the National American Football League and lists a couple of his proudest spare time achievements as winning the 1997 News of The World Fantasy Football competition and beating Roland Scholten at Round the Clock darts ‘Albeit,’ he points out, ‘With a sizeable handicap! ’.
