Professional Bio
After completing her degree, Jade gained experience as a Paralegal in a Private Client department for a Buckinghamshire based firm. After two years, Jade began studying her LPC part-time while working as a Trainee Solicitor full-time. During her training, Jade also gained experience in Property and Serious Crime but she ultimately decided to specialise in Private Client because she enjoyed it so much.
Jade has experience working with Clients at every stage of life: from couples about to get married or purchase their first home, people planning the birth their first child, parents wanting to tax plan, to grandparents looking to retire. She also knows how to help individuals plan for their final months and ways to support grieving family members.
Jade has provided services including; obtaining Grant of Probate and estate administration; detailed Inheritance Tax planning for high net worth clients; creating life time Trusts; Power of Attorneys; Court of Protection applications; and complex Wills. She particularly enjoys helping vulnerable clients in any way she can.
As the landscape of Private Client is constantly changing, Jade continues to study and is currently an Affiliate Member of STEP; this helps to ensure she has the advanced knowledge and up to date information required to provide exceptional advice to her clients.
Notable Cases
Regularly dealt with estates worth several million pounds, and in particular, one estate worth nearly £10,000,000.00 comprising of business property, foreign property and investment properties as well as various other investments.
Created an air-tight Advanced Directive which meant a Client, who suffered from an extremely debilitating and painful condition, could choose to end his life by going on hunger-strike without his life being prolonged unnecessarily by artificial nutrition/hydration or by interference from medical staff.
Has several times taken instructions, drafted and signed Wills within 24 hours for Clients who have only a matter of days to live.
On occasion, helped to resolve disputes between beneficiaries or Attorneys without the need for expensive and lengthy Court action.
