Nicola joined Aston Bond in 2011 after meeting Stephen Puri while working as an Estate Agent and Beauty Therapist. She initially joined the Marketing Department before moving into a full-time Receptionist role, where she quickly took on additional responsibilities and gained experience across different departments within the firm.
Having always had a passion for property and helping people, Nicola found her natural fit within Residential Property. Since 2021, she has qualified as a Paralegal through the CILEX route and has continued to develop her knowledge and expertise in residential conveyancing.
Nicola currently assists Christopher Tierney across his residential property matters and enjoys taking a matter from initial onboarding through to Completion. She has particular strengths in administration and compliance and is confident in identifying and addressing issues that may arise throughout the conveyancing process.
She also has experience dealing with issues relating to Title Registers and helping clients resolve inaccuracies or complications that could affect the sale or mortgageability of a property. In addition, Nicola assists clients with Stamp Duty recovery where an additional property has been purchased and the client subsequently sells their main residence within the required HMRC timeframe.
Nicola’s progression within Aston Bond reflects her willingness to learn, take on new challenges and develop her career within the legal profession. Since qualifying as a Paralegal through the CILEX route, she has continued to build her specialist knowledge in Residential Property.
Her ability to manage matters from onboarding through to Completion, combined with her strong administrative and compliance skills, allows her to provide clients with consistent and practical support throughout their property transactions.
Nicola has also developed particular expertise in identifying issues with Title Registers and helping clients resolve matters that could otherwise prevent or delay a property from being sold or mortgaged.
Outside of work, Nicola is a self-confessed foodie and enjoys spending quality time with her family and dogs. She particularly enjoys going on camping trips around the UK, taking the opportunity to step away from the usual routine and spend quality time together.
For Nicola, these trips are a chance to switch off from the stresses of everyday life, enjoy good food and, most importantly, be present with her family and make lasting memories.
‘The Aston Bond team work collaboratively with each other so there will always be more than one person who knows the case inside out. They are very responsive to clients, quick to move, and work seamlessly’
