Experience

Paul is an accountant who has spent a career working in professional services organisations and for the last 17 years in law firms.  Paul has a breadth of knowledge in legal finance, managing the finance function, dealing with compliance aspects and producing information to help guide business decision-making.

Achievements

Paul qualified with ACCA in the 1990s.  One of his most notable achievements was in connection with a merger of one law firm into a much bigger one.  Paul helped in the pre-merger due diligence and post-merger integration, to ensure a successful transition.  He then developed to perform a key role in the combined firm’s finance function as the FD’s right-hand man.

Outside the Office

In his spare time Paul enjoys following motorsport particularly Formula 1.  He has also walked many of the country’s national parks and led a team to complete the 3 Peaks mountain challenge in under 20 hours.
