Richard was admitted as a solicitor in 1970 and brings over 45 years of extensive legal experience to Aston Bond. Before joining the firm in 2006, he was Senior Partner at a well-established local law firm, where he developed considerable experience advising both commercial and private clients.
Throughout his career, Richard has advised a wide range of individuals, businesses and companies, providing practical and commercially focused legal guidance across a broad range of matters. His areas of expertise include business sales and acquisitions, commercial leases, employment matters, commercial agreements, divorce and ancillary relief claims, as well as wills, trusts and inheritance tax planning.
Richard has made a significant contribution not only to his clients but also to the wider legal profession. He served as a member of the committee of the Bucks, Berks and Oxfordshire Law Society for approximately 10 years, representing the interests of solicitors across the region.
He went on to serve as President of the Bucks, Berks and Oxfordshire Law Society from 1996 to 1997, marking an important achievement in his long-standing legal career.
With more than five decades of experience, Richard brings an exceptional depth of knowledge and perspective to his work. His extensive career across both commercial and private client law has established him as a trusted and experienced legal adviser.
Outside of work, Richard enjoys spending quality time with his family, making the most of opportunities to relax and unwind.
